WELCOME TO THE CLERMONT COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
The Clermont County Democratic Party strives to elect Democratic Candidates and promote Democratic issues that reflect our commitment to social and economic justice, environmental stewardship, and effective government. By raising awareness of our party and its core beliefs through meetings, forums, trainings, social events, and community service, we will strengthen our community and create a more balance electorate.
You can live the American dream right here in Clermont County.
Remembering Melanie Ogg
We are saddened to report the passing of another democrat who was near and dear to our hearts and that is Melanie Ogg of Scioto County. Melanie was our elected Ohio Democratic Party Executive Committee Woman for several years. She did not run the last time as she was devoting time as care-giver for her father. During her tenure, she regularly attended and supported our fundraisers by often donating handmade jewelry. We extend sympathy to her family, especially her husband, Bill Ogg, who is the County Treasurer in Scioto County. Rest in peace, dear friend, and thank you for all your service to the party as well as your friendship.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at an unspecified future date.
Tim Hogan Funeral
It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of Tim Hogan, a long time supporter of the Clermont County Democratic Party. He represented the Democratic Party as a member of the Clermont County Board of Commissioners from 1974-1978 and most recently as our representative to the state executive board. He also served the party for many years as an at-large member of the county executive board and was a strong financial supporter.
